  1. Gosh more fabulous work Room 9/9A. Issy your Koru is beautiful. I love that the 2 colours you chose are similar. I bet that you are an expert on ANZAC now. Maybe I could read your robot story when school is back. Stunning art Luca and great that you are practicing your phonics. Eddie you have a very kind sister. Your mum and sister made me a cake once. It was scrumptious and the decorations were amazing. Your car lokks like lots of fun. Peppermint crisp tart sounds VERY yummy Jordan and wow a bouncy egg - how funny is that! Caleb your recycled car is very cool and I LOVE your space story. You have painted a picture for me with words. I especially like the bit about the 'stars winking'. Very creative. Tohu you look very smart in your school uniform. I was very impressed when I read yesterday that you were up and dressed so early. I bet that you will have lots of fun playing with your hovercraft. Great story!

Well done Room 9 and 9a, you have been very busy again.
Issy, Mrs Harding will be so impressed to know you have been working on your Maori colours and the school Waiata. Great job!
Jordan, keep up the good work helping in the kitchen and reading on your iPad.
Luca I thought your nature artwork was very creative. You will be an expert on the Jolly Phonics song if you keep up your practice.
Eddie, how fantastic that the builders left the extra wood so you could make your treehouse. What fun!
Caleb I love your colourful measuring tower. How many LEGO blocks did you have in your tower?
You look as though you had a wonderful birthday, Tohu. What a great story and picture about your hovercraft..

  6. Gosh Room 9 and 9a students you have been very creative and busy with your home learning. It is lovely to see some of my previous students practising the Empathy GEM by helping their younger brothers or sisters. (Olive and Isabel, Abbie and Caleb).
Happy Birthday Tohu. I heard you had an awesome party with a quiz and a fabulous cake. Lucky you, to have your own Hovercraft. I remember reading about those just the other day.

  8. Wow, what a lot of amazing work from you all. I really enjoyed watching the video clips from Issy and Caleb, you have both been very busy. Like Luca, I like watching the Jolly Phonics slide and learning the songs for each letter. Eddie, you will have hours of fun playing in your tree house and car. How lucky you were to have lots of spare building materials. Some very tasty sounding food in Jordan's slide (especially the peppermint tart) it's made me feel quite peckish! You look so smart in your school uniform Tohu and your story writing is amazing. You all SHINE Room 9/9a!
