  1. What a beautiful Mother's Day card Gabby! I'm sure Mum will appreciate your efforts and treasure it for a long time! I love your work about bees and your whanau Issy. How lucky are you to have relatives on both the North and South Islands.

Well done Room 9 and 9a I can see that you are using your Sunnyhills Gems in your distance learning.
Gabby, has been using her Empathy Gem, showing kindness by making a beautiful card for her Mum.
Issy, I can see you using your Growth Gem by being curious and learning about bees, plus challenging yourself by ringing and interviewing people in your family to find out where they come from.
Keep up the good work. Were there more people in your family from the North Island or the South Island?

Gabby, that’s a lovely card you made for your mum! I can see butterflies and sparkles. The picture of you made me laugh with the funny nose and mouth!
Issy, buzz, buzz, buzz! Did you learn some new facts about bees?

  5. Your mum is a very lucky lady, Gabby!
Excellent work researching bees, Issy! You will know all about our school bees. Maybe you could share it with us when we get back to school.
